    clean rooms
    delicious dinner
    beautiful scenery
    steep walk

My experience at Arima Hot Spring Ryokan Hanamusubi was outstanding. The rooms were exceptionally clean and even included a massage chair, adding to the comfort. I thoroughly enjoyed both the enclosed and open-air baths, which provided beautiful scenery. The kaiseki dinner was a highlight, notably the delicious Kobe beef, and I appreciated the early morning bath followed by a fantastic Japanese breakfast.

The walk to the location was somewhat steep.

    serene atmosphere
    limited onsen scheduling

The atmosphere was serene and truly calming, especially

during my private onsen session that offered fantastic views of the surroundings. I could see the dedication of the staff in every detail, especially the delicious kaiseki dinner. I wish more information was provided about the onsen scheduling. Overall, it was a magical experience.

    clean rooms
    spacious facilities
    limited onsen

Clean rooms with impressive spaces and even have a massage chair. The public hot spring facilities boast fantastic views and overall quality, rivaling those in Nagasaki.

Private hot spring is quite limited in size, ideal for just one or two folks, making it tricky for groups. The gender-switching system for onsen usage could use a heads-up in advance. the food, while edible, lacks flair and could improve significantly in terms of temperature and portion size.

We had an amazing family experience soaking in the onsen, and the spacious room featured a massage chair, which was a fantastic way to unwind. My kids loved the tasty, traditional meals served, which made the trip even more memorable.

My kids wished for more outdoor activities for families.

The room was spacious and super clean, with a cozy massage chair that I loved. The Japanese-style futon felt really comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. The only downside was some noise from the ceiling at night, which was a bit annoying. But overall, I really enjoyed the zen vibe and the great amenities!

    comfortable staff

The stay was memorable. I especially enjoyed the kaiseki dinner served in my room, which felt like a true local experience. The staff helped me feel comfortable, and I appreciated the massage chair in my room. Early morning baths in the hot springs added tranquility to my days as I enjoyed my time exploring the area, making the most of my road trip across the country. Being able to share this experience with my partner gave it a special touch.

    private onsen
    authentic dining
    challenging location

great experience but some details need attention

The private onsen in our suite was fantastic and open 24 hours! ! The kaiseki dinner served on the tatami was nothing short of extraordinary, providing a taste of authentic local cuisine. I truly enjoyed the well-equipped room, which even included a massage chair that added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. Additionally, the clean and spacious design helped create a serene atmosphere that was just perfect for relaxation.

The location required a somewhat steep walk, which might be challenging for some guests.

The food was outstanding, with unique homemade ice cream highlighting the culinary experience. The room featured a massage chair that added to the comfort, though occasional sounds from the ceiling disrupted sleep. While the private bath was fully booked, the public onsen offered a lovely view, making the onsen experience enjoyable overall.
